Local patrols

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Today, officers from your local policing team have been out on patrol in the town centre. We’ve been speaking with members of the public, checking in with local businesses, and keeping an eye out to make sure everyone feels safe.

We’re here to deal with any issues, offer help where needed, and make sure the area remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

If you see us out and about, feel free to stop and say hello – we’re always happy to chat! 👋😊
